I'm considering deploying UniFi 6 Pro for 5.0GHz and UniFi 6 LR for 2.4GHz. And this seems to make sense as UniFi 6 LR is 4x4 for 2.4GHz with better range, compared to 2x2 on the UniFi 6 Pro. The thing that makes me confused is the rated speeds from the datasheet. Started with the U6LR x2 in the house. It worked well. Didn’t notice any quality increase over my upgrade from an AC Pro and a NanoHd. I replaced both Lr with the U6 Pro. My 2.4g devices didn’t show any improvements. My 5ghz did. I had less interference and fall out issues with my 13 echo dots. Doing it over again, I would just buy the U6 Pro.Using 80 MHz channels, the Wi-Fi 5 models maxed out at a typical 867 Mbps data rate, while the U6-Lite, U6-LR, and U6-Pro top out at 1200 Mbps. You can see the impact of Wi-Fi 6 on all three channel widths, but the biggest difference is at 80 MHz.
