I am new to Warcraft Lore and Warcraft games in general, and I am a bit confused about two things: 1) Do warlocks have their power via a pact with demons or do they take it by subjugating demons with learned techniques and 2) I have often heard that Warlocks will use "any means necessary" to achieve ...The story is very simple. People blow up dragons and explore the new continent. There are some undertones in the narrative regarding Night Elves and also the Infinite Dragonflight. It feels like an old school DnD campaign with a WoW tint. It's a lot of fun but it's not a very serious narrative; the narrative isn't taking itself too seriously ...

Storyline: After the events of "Wrath of the Lich King," Arthas has been imprisoned within Icecrown Citadel, unable to escape. This is not entirely fair, while Blizzard would have a team of writers, the Head Writer/Narrative Designer would pretty much have the final say on what gets in or gets cut, A shit Narrative Designer could actually make the writing worse than the writers could otherwise write, and they would have little power to do anything about it if hes favored by corporate for any reason.I don't know of any addons that "add to" the lore while you quest, but if you want a more visual alternative to Immersion, there's Storyline. It goes a step further than the talking heads format and puts your model on screen in a frame with the NPC with whom you're interacting. Model heights and text speed can be adjusted, although models must ...Warcraft (RTS) has good lore and ofc. Chronicles books. "Day of the Dragon" and its follow up, "The War of the Ancients" Trilogy are all good books to read for lore relating to Vanilla WoW. Azeroth has some intense history and a really solid place in video game culture. The lore is vast and there's so much to learn. I know more than the average player, I'm sure but I definitely don't know that much. What's you're favorite piece of lore and why?Essentially, it is because they broke their one cardinal rule of storytelling: "If you've said 'and then' instead of 'therefore,' you've failed." This seems to be why, in my opinion, Dragonflight is really fun and good, but missing that certain something. Let's compare this with Legion, which, despite missing it, I have played almost non-stop ...Its nice to see a measured opinion. I think people want it to be good to such an extent that they aren't willing to accept that the current team is creatively bankrupt. Its not like they've got a new team of writers in since SL and the start of DF screams to me that they have run dry in the ideas department.Series would be better, they could follow the route of what some other shows do, 10-15 episodes 1 hour each every new season. Now I think it would be better if the show is animated rather than live action. Something similar like star wars the clone wars or avatar the last airbender/legend of korra art style. I suggest scrolling down to the bottom of this page and reading the Artifact Book text on Xal'atath, particularly the parts including Natalie Selene, Azeroth's first proper shadow priest. That text is a great introduction to shadow priest lore! There's mainly 3 species of vampires: Nathrezim - also Cross faction is the end of old warcraft. I'm aware that this post will be downvoted into oblivion, but someone needs to put this out there, if only so that people in 2030 can see that not everyone was on board. It was terrible and never used. 17. I do believe, however, that it is Canon that the orcs "won" the first war (see Warcraft: the movie). The humans were unprepared for the orcish invasion, and their losses actually spawned what is now "The Alliance." In lore the orcs were larger, stronger, and because of the blood corruption they were far more bloodthirsty than the humans.

You're right, but a Necromancer focuses more exclusively on necromancy, while Warlocks utilize any magic that would give them power.
