Polaris ranger 900 turns over but wont start
Polaris ranger crew 900xp. cranks strong but wont start unless i use starter fluid. Then it will stay running and revs ok. but when driving power is cut in half. once i turn it off it wont re-start unless i use starter fluid again. it stays stored in my garage. it is a 2016 and only has maybe 80 hours on it.Carburation may not necessarily be your problem, but if it won't start on ether, I have good results with gas in a bottle and a piece of 1/16" fuel line in the bottle cap to pour a very small amount of gas into the carb or intake. Make sure the airbox lid is on and tight. When starting these, choke on, gas on, and no throttle until it starts.

When it did crank it was slow to turn over. I bought a new battery. Stock was 14ah battery, I installed a 21ah battery. The motor still turns over slow. And sometimes will not turn over at all. Good luck - the module (4060188 CUTOFF,12V,ALT.OPR,LR-50) was only Put it all the way into the boot and hold it a small distance, like 1/16" or so from the block. Crank the engine and see if a nice spark jumps from the screwdriver to metal ground. If you have a spark that way, but not with the plug, replace the plug.
