LoL has lifesteal and omnivamp (and very rarely spellvamp): Lifesteal only works on AAs and onhit like yasuo or irelia Q (and rarely abilities that state they procc it like samira R iirc). The damage type doesnt matter afaik Omnivamp works on everything, AAs, spells, everything. spellvamp only works on spells but its not around a lot anymore.. As this is life steal build, max W as fast as you can. W gives you enough attack speed and life steal to outscale most champions, but you have to have a decent early/mid game.
