You got a vacuum leak. Pop the hood and listen for anything that sounds like rushing air, kinda like a hissing noise. I say start from the intake/filter and work your way along any hoses that come from there all the way to the manifold. There are no engine options throughout the line. I went from an 2020 SE-R line Tiguan to a 2021 Jetta S and I was afraid that I would miss all of the above mentioned features, and to be completely honest I don’t miss them at all except for the leather wrapped steering wheel. Although the Tiguan had an analog instrument cluster also. Some of the lower trim Jetta can get slightly more power if you run premium (min 87, 93 recommended) If you have a Jetta that just says 87 on the gas cap then running premium won't do anything beneficial.
