If you are gonna focus on sword attacks Bludgeoner 3 + Mind's Eye 3 is better than Handicraft + Master Touch 3, if you're gonna focus on shield attack Handicraft 2-3 and Speed Sharpening 3 is enough, there's no need to MT3, but in my experience Hi Ninja Sword works better with Bludgeoner with Drill Slash Combo and for Hard Basher Combo there's better choices like Rampage, Tigrex, Diablos or ... My current Hi Ninja Sword build has Critical Boost 3, Attack Boost 7, Bludgeoner 3, Mind's Eye 3, Evade Window 3 (mostly incidental because of my charm, but I've grown to appreciate it) and Partbreaker 3 (also incidental), and an assortment of 1 slot skills.

I love the 100 percent uptime. No need to sharpen just fight the monsters.
